Education

With the implantation of my health care plan, we would be able to free up nearly $1 billion that was previously allotted for healthcare. I want to see this money put to use in the education system by the following:

Pre-K programs expanded statewide
Funding for all extracurricular activities
In addition to funds from the lottery, providing funding for community college or technical training for every high school graduate

Public universities that are receiving the current $1 billion annually from the state will restructure their pay scales to reduce costs. This restructuring should decrease the price of tuition. If the universities wish to go private, then money could be sent to universities that are willing to negotiate.
