Legalize Marijuana

 I am proud to support and push for the legalization of medical marijuana. This is a very serious issue that has been impacting Alabamians statewide. It is up to me to address this issue head on, and rally the support needed to make the proper change. • Full legalization of medical Marijuana: 

  • 10% excise tax

  • 2.9% sales tax  

• In some states that have legalized marijuana, there has been a 25% decrease in opioid deaths.

• Some states have also seen a 17% decrease in prescription cost

• Full legalization of recreational Marijuana:

  • 20% excise tax 

  • 14% state sales tax

  • regulated much like alcohol
