Basic Health Care (Medical)

Federal employees will not use this health care they will keep their existing plan (paid by the federal government)

Veterans will have this plan in addition to VA benefits (The VA will be the primary policy, however, there will be no limitation to which doctor you can see.)

Prescription drugs (generic) covered at $3 a prescription

Name brand at $10 a prescription. (If the pharmaceutical companies will not give better deals on prescriptions, we will negotiate with other countries.)

Each copay will be $5 (non-emergency, in office)

Emergency room copay will be $20 (non-emergency)

Dental Care

Preventive dental care covered at 100% (cleanings, x-rays)

Procedures for children, 17 and under, covered at 100% (fillings, root canals, crowns, extractions, etc.)

Elective orthodontic treatment covered at 40%

Orthodontic treatment for birth defects covered 100%

Procedures for adults, 18 and over, as follows:

fillings will have a $25 copay each

crowns will have a $65 copay each

all other procedures covered at 50%

orthodontic treatment covered at 30%

All annual eye exams covered at 100%

Children, 17 and under, approved eye glasses covered at 100%, contact lenses covered at 50%

Adults,18 and over, approved glasses covered at 50%, contact lenses covered at 50%

Veterans approved glasses or contact lenses covered at 100%

Age 65 and older approved glasses or contact lenses covered at 100%

Mental Health Care

Children, 17 and younger, will be covered at 100%, with no copay.

Adults, 18 and over, will have a copay of $5 per visit to mental health appointments
